Photo printers for bars and weddings

Snap it. Print it. Pin it.

Tacksnap is a little printer box that hangs on your wall. Guests scan the code, take a photo on their own phone, and a real 4x6 print drops out in ten seconds. They keep it, or pin it to the board, and your wall fills up with your regulars.

How it works

From phone to the wall in about a minute.

There is no booth to stand in and no app to download. The camera is the one already in every pocket.

Scan and snap

The QR code on the box opens a camera page in the phone's browser. Frame the shot, add a caption, pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay.

It prints right there

A lab-quality 4x6 print slides into the red tray in about ten seconds, with a film look, a date stamp and the caption written underneath.

Keep it or pin it

Take it home, or pin it to the board next to the box. Every photo also lands on your venue's live online wall, if the guest says yes.

The Tacksnap Box

Built for a Friday night.

A locked steel cabinet with a pro dye-sub printer inside. It holds 700 prints, tells us before it runs low, and shrugs off spilled drinks.

Size24 x 24 in on the wall, 20 in deep. Hangs on two studs above counter height.
Prints4x6 dye-sub, dry and smudge-proof the second it lands. About 10 seconds each.
Power and Wi-FiOne standard outlet. Works on your Wi-Fi, or its own LTE if the signal is bad.
Looked afterWe watch every box remotely: paper, jams, temperature, the door. You never touch it.

What's inside

1Glass door, keyed lockPeople watch their print come out. Only we have the key.
2700-print rollA pro photo-booth printer. Most venues get a restock once a month.
3Remote controllerRestarts a jam, reports paper left and warns us before anything goes wrong.
4Quiet fanKeeps the printer cool through a packed patio night.
5Covered print slotA hood keeps drinks out. Too narrow for curious fingers.
6Status lightGreen when ready, amber while printing, so guests know it works.
The wall

Your regulars become the decor.

Every print has the same look: soft film color, an orange date stamp in the corner, and the guest's caption in marker. A board fills up in a few weeks and people come back to find themselves on it.

Questions

What owners ask us first.

Does my staff have to do anything?

No. Guests pay on their own phones, the box prints by itself, and we restock paper and tidy the board on a regular route. If a print jams we usually clear it remotely. Your staff can ignore it.

What stops someone printing something offensive?

Every photo is checked automatically before it prints, and anything flagged is refused. You and your managers can also remove any photo from the board or the online wall from your phone.

Who owns the photos?

The guest does. When they print, they choose whether to share the photo with your venue. Shared photos appear in your dashboard and you may use them on your own channels. Photos that aren't shared are only printed, and deleted after 30 days.

How much space does it need?

A 24 x 24 in spot on a wall with an outlet nearby, plus room for a 36 x 24 in pin board beside it. Most venues put it near the bathrooms, the patio door or the end of the bar.

What if it runs out of paper on a Saturday?

It won't by surprise. Each box reports how many prints are left, and we restock before a busy weekend. A full roll is 700 prints.

Is there a contract?

Month to month. If it isn't working for you, give us 30 days notice and we take it away and patch the wall.
